Very long promade either walking running go right to the end of the pier into bull island lovely little coffee shop there reasonably priced for tea coffee cold drinks
Great place for a walk and to take in the views of Dublin. Plenty of brave souls swimming at high tide on the boat launch slipway. It has the added bonus of lighting at night. Plenty of shops, pubs and amenities along the route. Flat surface perfect for Wheelchairs and pushchairs and young children to cycle or scoot. Easily accessible by bike and bus #130 (plenty of new cycle lanes) but no cycling allowed on the promenade. Cheap and readily available paid parking.
A long walkway perfect for peaceful seaside strolls. The fresh air and open views make it a great break from the city centre. Ideal for jogging, walking, or simply relaxing by the water. It feels spacious, calm, and welcoming on almost any day.
We arrived by plane and took it easy because we were jet lagged. Went for a stroll along the promenade and there were several cafes, pubs, and such. The walk was quiet and peaceful. Great to get over the difference in time zones.
Nice place. Full of people and it's hard about park for a car, so better be there without car. Very windy.
